Dorpat Autonomous Driving Challenge is the world’s first benchmark of real-world autonomous driving. It allows participants all over the world to test their self-driving algorithms on the streets of Tartu. Performing testing in Estonia allows experiencing all four seasons and a variety of weather conditions. It also promotes Estonia as a test-bed for evaluating self-driving technologies and displays Tartu’s characteristics of being an innovative center for education and research.
